Happy Halloween!

Quite a sight aren't we??? We had our Halloween fun last evening and I must say that Janet and I have never looked better! Do you have any Halloween plans?

So now on to not so scary sights...
This is based on a new challenge site I came across...Case Study Challenge Blog. There is a new card inspiration posted weekly and the challenge is to case the card. Fun.
I used the argyle embossing folder and sanded the paper, the patterned paper is eons old, from K&Co., ribbon and button from my stash and sentiment sticker is from SRM stickers.
Thanks for dropping by. Hope you have a fun Halloween!

'Tis the Season

A few weeks ago, 10 of made the trek to Sandals, Cuba to help 3 of our friends celebrate their 50th birthdays. And so it has begun...celebrating a half a doesn't seem that long ago that we were turning 40. Funny, but I remember when my parents turned 50 and they seemed old. It doesn't seem so old now.

We had a wonderful time and it was a great way to lessen the blow of such a milestone...although I have a few years to go til I get there!

So now onto another's only 55 days away!! And I'll probably never get everything done that I want to do, but here's a good start.

This is based on this week's sketch at Clean and Simple Stamping (FTL114). Loved this sketch and it was a great way to get going on my Christmas cards. The poinsettias are from Prima, brads are from Making Memories, leaf punch is from Martha Stewart and the stamp is from Papertrey Ink.
So, I hope you're having a good Halloween weekend. It's a bit different now that we don't have little kids in the house. There isn't a crisis over costumes, and make up, and who to go trick or treating with...I miss it a tiny bit...but then leftover candy helps to lessen the pain!!
Happy Saturday,
