I never used to like yellow and rarely used it. Now I seem to like it more and more. Love the warm, sunny feeling this shade gives. Stamp is from Anna Griffin. I stamped it with StazOn onto a paint chip. I love the Debbie Travis ones at Canadian Tire stores. They're wonderful colors and a nice big size too. Don't tell Debbie that I'm hoarding her paint chips to make cards! LOL. Charm is from K&Co.
Happy Friday, everyone!

Feeling Tropical!
Well at least the sun is shining today, that's one step closer to tropical weather in the middle of winter! This is a card that I made for a tropical challenge on Cococat's Cardmaking
I struggled with this theme for a while. Amazingly, I found a ton of tropical stuff in my stash (who knew?!) then it was only finding the combination of products that I liked. Love the way this turned out. Makes me almost feel the hot sand under my feet (almost!).
Patterned paper, printed tape, ribbon and tile are all from Stemma
Flower stamp is from Michaels G studio, and is stamped with VersaMark ink. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and sanded it down. Fun, fun, fun!!

You're in my Thoughts
Done for a challenge and sent to a friend. I love this sweet little kitty face. The stamp is from Rubberstamp Ave. I added Stickles to it, and Tulip Fashion Bead paint to the scallop edges. Deja Views sentiment, Cuttlebug embossing folder and Marvy scallop punch.

Have Fun
Really not my usual subdued style, but I love how this image swap card turned out. I really did 'have fun' making this. My smile grew bigger with each time I added another flower and more bling...I had a ball making this. The princess image was the one we had to work with, the rest was up to me. All the paper and flowers are from K&Co., the bling is from Darice. Card base is from Martha Stewart. This card is on its way to a friend in California!

Happy Birthday
This is for a 'blue' challenge on Cococat's Cardmaking
And I think it'll be perfect for an upcoming birthday. Patterned paper and ribbon are from Making Memories. The chipboard flower is from Magistical Memories
I dabbed French Blue chalk inf from ColorBox onto it and when it was dry I dabbed white on the edges. Flower is from Prima, sticker flower is from SandyLion. The stamped sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Hope you're not having a blue day...only one more day til the weekend!

Happy Day
A New Year
I find it so amazing how fast time flies. Here we are in a New Year, a new beginning.
To help me celebrate all things new (like my new blog), my friend Wendi made the new header for my blog. Wendi is that master of all things creative and a whiz at digital scrapbooking. And she's starting her own blog. As soon as it's up and running, I'll add a link. I know that it's going to be an amazing blog, full of wonderful inspiration. Thank you for my new header Wendi, I love it.
