It's not too often that a sketch, free time and good mojo come together for me. Usually one of the 3 of those things are lacking. But this morning, the stars were aligned and this card came together fairly quickly.
This is for the sketch challenge at Get Sketchy.
The flowery patterned paper is from Basic Grey (Eva), the lavender is from K&Co. I made the scallop border using a circle punch and cutting the circles in half as I didn't have a scallop die cut big enough for the circle. I die cut the flower out of old dictionary pages, spritzed them with purple shimmery stuff and curled the edges when dry. I made the 'shimmery spritz' using Polished Pigment powder from LuminArte. I have a ton of the powders leftover from my Simply Sentiments days. It's good to put them to use once in a while. The letters are Thickers from American Crafts and the large gem brad is from Recollections.
Hope you're having a great Saturday. We're off to a music lesson and some shopping.
Thanks for coming to take a peek. Ivanka
